Late Policy, Cancellation Policy, No Show Policy for Doctor Appointments
Our goal is to provide quality health and wellness care in a timely manner. In order to do so, our appointment/cancellation policy enables us to better utilize available appointments for our patients in need of medical care.
Cancellation and No Show Policy
We understand that there are times when you must miss an appointment due to emergencies or obligations for work or family. However, when you do not call to cancel an appointment, you may be preventing another patient from getting much needed treatment. Conversely, the situation may arise where another patient fails to cancel and we are unable to schedule you for a visit, due to a seemingly “full” appointment book.
Patients who fail to show for their scheduled appointment, or do not notify the office within 48 hours of their scheduled appointment time, shall be subject to a No Show/Cancellation fee. Exceptions may be granted on a case by case basis.
How to Cancel Your Appointment
If it is necessary to cancel your scheduled appointment, please visit the “Make changes” link in your appointment confirmation email to notify the office of your change. Appointments are in high demand, and your early cancelation will give another person the possibility to have access to timely medical care.
We understand that delays can happen. If you are running late, please notify the office. Patients running 15 minutes past their appointment time may be considered a no-show or canceled appointment and will be charged a fee, and may need to reschedule their appointment. This is to ensure Dr. Anita can provide the best care for all patients.
